Call for Nominations
OATE Teacher Education Partner Award
Do you know a person who or organization which provides support to preservice teachers, mentor teachers, or teacher education faculty?
Eligibility Criteria:
- An individual who or organization that has demonstrated ongoing material, instructional, or professional support to preservice teachers, mentor teachers, teacher education faculty or programs.
- Provides consistent collaboration, connections, and support to teacher education participants.
- Provides ongoing commitment to championing teacher education at the local, state, and/or national level.
Who can nominate:
Nominations may be submitted by any member of the teacher education community.
Nomination Submission Process:
- A nomination letter addressed to the OATE selection committee (maximum two single-spaced pages) describing how the nominee demonstrates excellence in teaching based on the award criteria described above.
- A statement of teaching philosophy from the nominee (maximum two single-spaced pages)
Student Teaching – awarded each fall and spring
Submit Nominations:
- Nominee submits statement describing partnership commitment and activities related to teacher education to mail@ohioate.org.
- Use the subject line OATE Teacher Education Partner Award.
