OATE Awards

The OATE sponsors five awards each year: Outstanding Cooperating Teacher, Outstanding College Supervisor, Outstanding Mentor, Outstanding Student Teacher, and Outstanding Field Experience Program. The Martha Alcock Award for Outstanding Research/Scholarship is also awarded. An additional award is for Distinguished Service to OATE.

The award nominations for the 2023 OATE awards will be open from January 30 through May 15, 2023. Please consider nominating your colleagues to recognize all their great work and contributions in education. The award recipients will be recognized at the fall 2023 OCTEO conference. The nomination process is streamlined and easy to recommend an individual.
